Passion: A Lenten Reflection

SLYC were invited to participate in the Archdiocese of Glasgow's Lenfest programme (see link below). On Thursday 24th March they performed a concert of Lenten music in St Aloysius' Church, Glasgow, featuring some of the greatest religious composers, past and present. From Allegri's haunting Miserere to Arvo Part's sublime Summa for String, and movements from his Berlin Mass, the concert was an evening of deep reflection and contemplation.

Joining SLYC was the Spirit of Life Ensemble, a string orchestra comprised of professional players, and French Soprano, Angeline Moncus.
