On the heels of a successful workshop with composer, Bob Chilcott, as part of the Annual Conference for the Association of British Choral Directors, SLYC gave the Scottish Premier of his latest composition, Requiem.

SLYC organised a benefit concert for the survivors of the Haiti earthquake. The artists who took part were the Spirit of Life Youth Choir, with Aleksander Kudajczyk and the Cathedral Strings. The proceeds of the evening went to Christian Aid to assist them in their efforts to rebuild the countless lives affected by this horrendous humanitarian crisis.
